Donalds Menswear was established in 1984 by Donald Rooke and his wife Carol, and has built up a reputation for offering fine quality, value for money clothing, and providing an excellent level of customer service that you just don't find on the high street.
This includes the very useful (and complimentary) service of having any minor alterations to purchased garments completed while-you-wait, so the customer knows everything fits before leaving the shop.
The shop had previously been a Hepworths mens tailoring store since the 1940's, where Donald started work as a young salesman in 1969, working his way up to the managers position. As such he has built up over 42 years experience in the menswear industry.
Donald has passed on this knowledge to his staff, so every customer is served by someone who knows the products and can offer expert advice.
The buying team of Donald, Mark and Carol ensure that the shop is stocked with well regarded, established brands as well as a selection of new, up-and-coming names to keep the offer fresh.
